BRIEF OVERVIEW
As someone who previously worked closely with healthcare providers, form functionality and quality is a key factor to keeping clients satisfied and engaged. At the time, our forms were basically similar to word documents with the added touch of a drag and drop builder - this was something I refused to accept.

I interviewed 30+ clients from differing industries during weekly meetings
With my BAU (business-as-usual) clients, who's main services offered varied from Aesthetic Medspas, Wellness centers, Optometrists, Surgery centers, etc, I gathered their feedback regarding what they would love to see in their EMR forms. All these data points + ones from sales demos were organized into categories.

5+ hours of reviewing Form.io documentation and constantly re-writing JavaScript code, I was able to get us to four key features that I wanted to present to my Directors.

Knowing when to diverge from Status Quo
Our forms process was one that was not touched for over a long time. Even though there was no official assignment or task, I took on the task on myself and through research, experimenting and implementing feedback (external and internal) it led to the significant growth of our product and improved market penetration!
